✨ Let Yourself Shine ✨

It’s our grand finale prompt of Leo Season — your cosmic permission slip to take up space, radiate joy, and be unapologetically you. Bonus points for great hair, fabulous accessories, or a killer playlist while you read.

This is your moment to choose a book that encourages you to step into your power — whether that means chasing a dream, owning your weirdness, or embracing the spotlight.

📚 Prompt 5: Read something that inspires you to shine brighter.

💬 Your turn:

  • What book have you chosen for this prompt?

  • How are you letting yourself shine off the page this week?

  • If you could give yourself a one-line pep talk right now, what would it be?

Let’s light up this thread like the Leo Sun itself. 🌞

🌟 Big Hair, Big Heart Wrap-Up 🌟

Alright, radiant readers — time to close the book (or just the week) on our glow-up prompt. ✨

This week we:
💄 Found main-character moments
💖 Witnessed epic transformations
📚 Discovered that sometimes the biggest glow-up is inside

Drop your final thoughts, favorite lines, or the scene that left you feeling 10 feet tall.
We’ll sweep up the glitter and cue the next adventure on Sunday. 🪩

✨ Prompt #4: Big Hair, Big Heart ✨

This week, we’re celebrating transformation. 💫
Prompt #4 is all about self-love, confidence, and glow-ups—inside, outside, or both.

Think:
💃 A character stepping into their power
💄 A full glam makeover moment
🦁 A shy soul finding their roar
💖 Or a real-life memoir that inspires you to shine brighter

📚 The magic of this challenge? You don’t have to have been here from the start. Just pick a book that fits, even if you’re still reading something from an earlier prompt.

👉 Your turn:

  • What’s your pick for this week?

  • Have you ever read a book that made you walk a little taller in real life?

Drop your answers in the comments so we can cheer you on. 🌟

I just finished Where the Dark Stands Still by A.B. Poranek and I think it fits this prompt perfectly. Liska, our heroine, must embrace her magic and step into her full power in order to save the people and the land that she loves. I really enjoyed reading a story steeped in Polish folklore, magic, and a young woman allowing herself to emerge as her magnificent self! It was a great reminder that we all have our own sparks of magic and it's important that we share it with the world. Definitely Leo Vibes!

🎭 Prompt #3: Center Stage

It’s Tuesday, and the curtains are rising on our third Leo Season reading prompt: Center Stage!

This week, we’re reading stories about performers, artists, or bold creators—any character who steps into the spotlight with flair. Drag queens, drama kids, misunderstood musical prodigies, creative rebels… if they steal the scene or live for the applause, they’re in.

Leo season challenges us to be seen, to express, and to embrace our inner diva (or theater goblin). So:

🪩 Who’s center stage in your reading world this week?
🎤 Drop your picks below—or tell us about a character who made you gasp, laugh, or cheer like you were front row on opening night.

🌶️ WEEK 2: Swoony, Spicy, or Glittery Romance

Welcome to Week 2, celestial book lovers! ✨

This week’s Leo-aligned prompt is:
💖 Read a swoony, spicy, or glittery romance.

We’re talking:

  • Slow burns that leave you longing 🔥

  • Rom-coms that make your heart smile 💕

  • Monster lovers and mafia kings with heat and heart 🐺👑

  • Glamorous, glittery, over-the-top emotional chaos ✨

Need a little inspo? We’ve got recs featuring:

  • 👽 Aliens (yep)

  • 🧛‍♂️ Monsters

  • 💋 Fake dating

  • 😈 Mafia bosses

  • 💌 Big feelings + sparkling banter

Check out the comments below for the full rec list—a lineup of hot, hexed, and hella fun romances curated with help from Woo Woo friend and romance author L.K. Shaw 🔥✨ (plus a few wild cards we couldn’t resist tossing in). Expect alien lovers, monster husbands, slow burns, spicy power plays, and chaotic rom-com energy—all totally on brand for Leo season.

📖 Are you reading something fiery and fierce?
📖 Did your TBR shift dramatically after seeing the recs?

I just finished up "Ruthless Fae" - definite Main Character Energy. Fiery Twins, a bit of vengence, a little spice, humor and of course lots to prove. The twins have big shoes to fill and it's important they stand in their authentic power - but first they have to find it! The Zodiac Academy series is a bit of book crack - and my brain is really loving the break. And the astrological info they weave in is an interesting spin - it's like little snacks - astrology snacklets. LOL. But if you want nutrient dense astrology, drop me a line!

What are you reading on this fine Sunday?

What’s Your MC Energy Pick So Far?

Hey radiant readers ✨

We’re midweek into Main Character Energy—and now we want to know:

💫 What are you reading right now?
💫 Who’s stealing the show in your book?
💫 What made you go: “Yep… total main character vibes”?

Drop a quote, a mood, or a quick description of your current fave lead below.
Bonus points for GIFs, drama, or divine chaos. 🦁🔥

"To my surprise, Darius was already there, a herd of fiery horses galloping around him in a circle as he weilded his magic in a display which had drawn a group of fans clamouring around him. I wandered closer, eyeing the five horses with interest and noticing the differences between each of them. I knew how much more difficult it was to maintain individual details when shaping magic like that and I couldn't help but be impressed..."

Definite Leo vibes - fire magic, creativity, star magnetism - and likely the downfall of Tory, one of the main characters.

🛸 Be Kind, Stay Groovy, Respect the Vibe

Before you float too far into the Lounge, here’s a little galactic etiquette to keep our orbit peaceful, playful, and purposeful.

This isn’t your average online space — this is a vibe. ✨

🌈 Cosmic Lounge Guidelines:

  1. Kindness is non-negotiable. We don’t all have to agree, but we do have to be respectful. Empathy, curiosity, and a little humor go a long way.

  2. This is a judgment-free constellation. Spiritual newbies, skeptics, mystics, and mood ring collectors alike are welcome here.

  3. Share the space, not just your stuff. Feel free to contribute insights, questions, and creativity — but no spammy self-promotion or selling.

  4. Honor boundaries and privacy. This is a safe place for self-reflection and exploration. Be mindful of oversharing or probing others.

  5. Ask first, then float. Curious about starting a new Topic? Have an idea for a community activity? Stellar — just check in first.

  6. Keep it groovy, not grim. We’re here to explore the stars, not spiral into existential dread (unless it’s part of your Saturn return — in which case, we’ve got snacks).

Let’s co-create a space that feels like a moonlit campfire, an astro book club, and a soulful salon all rolled into one.

💖 Be real. Be respectful. Be radiant.
